NIJAT MAMMADLI
Chairman of the Board

Nijat Mammadli graduated in 1997 from the Faculty of Social Sciences and Psychology of Baku State University, majoring in Political Science, and in 1999 completed his Master’s degree at Baku State University in Political Processes in Azerbaijan, graduating with distinction. In 2002, he was admitted to the doctoral program at Baku State University. In 2010, he earned a Master’s degree in Public Policy from Western Illinois University (USA).

From 1999 to 2008, he worked as a lecturer at the Department of Political Science and Sociology of Baku State University and from 2003 to 2006, he served as a lecturer at the Military Academy of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Between 2005 and 2007, Nijat Mammadli served as Secretary General of the National Assembly of Youth Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan (NAYORA). In 2006–2007, he participated in a faculty development program in social policy at Columbia University (USA) and during this period acted as the representative of the National Assembly of Youth Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan at the United Nations Headquarters in New York.

From June to December 2007, Nicat Mammadli worked as Head of the Children’s Rights Division at the Office of the Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsman) of the Republic of Azerbaijan. During 2008-2010, while pursuing his graduate studies at Western Illinois University, he also served as a Teaching Assistant at the same university.

From 2010 to 2013, he was employed as a Senior Engineer in the Social Infrastructure Management Department of the State Oil Company of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SOCAR). From 2013 to 2018, he served as Head of the International Relations Department at the State Committee for Work with Religious Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Since 2018, Nijat Mammadli has held various senior positions at the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, including Head of the International Cooperation Department, Head of the Department for Science, Higher and Secondary Specialized Education, and Advisor to the Minister.

He is the author of two monographs and more than 50 academic articles.

Khanim Tariyel gizi Dashdamirova was born on July 9, 1988, in Baku.

In 2006, she entered the Faculty of Engineering Economics and Management at Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC), earning her Bachelor’s degree in 2010 and her Master’s degree in International Economic Relations (Special Talents Group) in 2013.

Since 2023, she has been pursuing an MBA in Finance within the joint program of the University of York (UK) and the University of Strasbourg (France).

She began her professional career in 2010 at Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC) as a Specialist in International Relations. Later, she held various positions in project management at international companies such as Aztexnika Ltd, Amec Foster Wheeler, Wood PLC, and RSM Azerbaijan Consulting Group.

She holds professional certifications in project and program management, including Project Management Professional (PMP®), Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP®), Professional Scrum Master (PSM I), and Professional Product Owner (PPO I).

She was the winner of the Third “Yuksalish” competition in 2023.

Since November 2023, she has been serving as the Deputy Chairperson of the Board of the Education Development Fund.

She speaks English, Russian, and Turkish.

She is married and has two children.
